Service: Software Development
Client: OSMOS GROUP, France
Scope: Damage detection software operates with data recorded during strong ground motion and attempts to determine if the system has: 1) responded essentially elastically 2) suffered significant inelastic excursions but recuperated well so no permanent damage is anticipated and 3) the structure suffered significant inelastic action and did not fully recuperate, indicating that permanent damage which may require repair is likely needed. The goal of the software is to detect damages of buildings following an earthquake using data recorded during strong ground motion (output-only) vibration data obtained from instrumented building.
